It’s snowing again and the best skiing is still to come

It’s been snowing again in the Alps and the best skiing may yet be to come.

Easter is just round the corner and after the huge snowfalls earlier in the year holidaymakers are assured of perfect pistes in most of the top European resorts with the exception of the Dolomites which missed out on much of the major winter snowfalls. Indeed the snow is so good that most major resorts won’t close until the end of April.

The snow is still good in Andorra and Bulgaria, which still has an amazing 300cm on the lower slopes, and further afield there’s still great snow in Whistler, Canada.  Ski resorts in Colorado and California are only having an average winter however. So if you haven’t yet skied this year there’s still time but head for Europe.
